Sydney Fuller

Sydney (she/her) is a Southern environmentalist, community builder, and creative with degrees in Fine Arts and Environmental Sustainability. Her interests range from ethnobotany to wellness, from sustainability and design to environmental justice and Afrofuturism. In her personal work, Sydney is constantly learning something new, and, when she’s not working, she can usually be found in a cozy corner with a stack of books.

Experience

    • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and fellow staff to articulate the values of the organization, vision the future, and plan for deepening growth 

    • Plan and facilitate webinars, retreats and other programming focused on diverse topics related to personal and professional development in conservation 

    • Manage and train alumni in volunteer and paid positions with the network

    • Design and implement a grants program

    • Create interesting narratives with new and relevant written and visual content for monthly newsletters, social media accounts, blog, and website 

    • Outreach to organizations, universities, and companies for potential collaboration opportunities

    • Support network of 600+ alumni by providing resources for career development, mental health, and personal growth

    • Used GIS to map and document park social trails

    • Wrote an analysis for the park based on research findings and presented work to park management
